Ellie is a calm puppy with a lot of drive, curiosity, energy, she is caring and has good social skills regarding both people and dogs. Ellie is a bit reserved towards people she does not know - however, I see this as an advantage.

She is very fond of food, teachable and eager to learn new things. This applies to everything from obedience exercises to hunting training. We have done a lot of track training and she impresses me again and again. The first track trainings we did with food and soon we started using only scent - nothing is a problem for this nose.

We have been hunting twice, and she does really well. She points if we go without a line and waits to flush until I am 1-2 meters from her - however, I would really like her to do it on command first - and that is something we strive to achieve. Her point is staunch and every time there is a pheasant in front of her. If she sets after it, I can quickly call her back - all in all, a fantastic and motivated family dog ​​with a lot of hunting desire.

The only vet visit we have had was due to an energetic clumsy puppy practicing

to control its long rods (a wounded paw).

She is a large lady - and has been since she was very young - on 8/2-2021 she weighed

31.5kg, chest size 76cm, shoulder height 65cm.
