He is teachable and very eager to learn, retrieving he got quickly.

Field training is new to me, so both Blake and I need to be trained. But we are getting started and I myself was pleasantly surprised at how well and for how long he searched the field.

He is the family dog ​​of all time. Our youngest and Blake have both had to learn to respect each other. Now he withdraws if it gets too much and the kids know well they when they have to leave him alone.

It has to be said - the kids and Blake LOVE each other incredibly much.

We have a labrador and the difference in their energy level is obvious. Something more is needed before Blake gets tired (it is visible on the kids toys if we have not been active enough).

I have taken him with me hunting but the first season as an oberver.
